Brian Henningsen – Ranch Manager

Brian, a fifth generation Montana native, grew up working on several area ranches and became interested from an early age with the various approaches to farming and managing livestock and their relationship with healthy wildlife and fishery habitat.   Brian’s interest has continued throughout his life and his varied professional background includes numerous ranch positions throughout southwest Montana as well as seven years working for the Department of Agriculture and time spent in Europe managing a private estate and gun club.  Brian’s extensive skill and knowledge with horses has led him to working at some of the most famous Class A racehorse venues in the United States and Europe as an exercise jockey and also competed in Steeple Chase events during his time in Europe.

Brian has a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Montana State University.  His educational background is a complement to his knowledge and experience managing all facets of an agricultural/recreational ranch.  Brian utilizes his expertise to provide budgets and cost analysis for the ranches we manage which provides a detailed financial picture for our clients of the ongoing fiscal aspects of running a ranch.

Brian’s extensive ranch experience, professional background, and education as well as his excellent organizational skills and attention to detail allows owners to relax and enjoy their properties knowing that the management of habitat, agriculture, general ranch operations, and caretaking responsibilities are in good hands.
